How to make a review QR code
Find the page where customers write a review, copy its address, and paste it above. Then pick a design and download.
- Tripadvisor: in your Management Center, the review collection tools give you a link straight to your review form.
- Trustpilot: use trustpilot.com/evaluate/ followed by your website, for example trustpilot.com/evaluate/example.com.
- Facebook: link to your page’s Reviews tab.
- Google: use the Google review QR code page, which also takes a Place ID.
Make people want to scan it
- Say what it’s for, in a few words: “Enjoyed your stay? Tell others.”
- Put it where people have a moment: the bill, the room, the receipt, the parcel.
- Print it at least 3 cm wide, dark on light, with space around it.
Know each site’s rules
Most sites, Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot among them, don’t allow paying or rewarding people for reviews, or asking only happy customers. Yelp asks businesses not to request reviews at all; link to your Yelp page instead.
Questions
Can one code send people to two sites?
Not at once. With a dynamic QR code you can switch which site it opens at any time, and count its scans.
